Project Partners
The Merseyside Ambient Noise Study was commissioned by the Merseyside Transport, Health and Environment Forum on behalf of the five Merseyside local authorities and Merseytravel. The study was funded through the Merseyside Local Transport Plan, with each council and Merseytravel contributing an equal share of the costs.
The Merseyside Local Transport Plan sets out an integrated transport strategy for Merseyside and a costed delivery programme. Government funding for transport improvements is based on the programme submitted in the Local Transport Plan.
